With Resolution of the Regional Council of Piedmont dated 29 April 2024, the dates of the calendar for the harvesting of Truffles in Piedmont have been modified with effect from 1 September 2024 motivated by the ongoing climate change in recent years.
Black Summer Truffle – from 1st June to 31st August;
White Truffle of Alba – from 1st October to 31st January;
Autumn Black Truffle – from 1st October to 30th November;
Prized Black Truffle – from 15 December to 15 March;
Bianchetto or Marzuolo Truffle – from 15 January to 30 April.
Finally, for all types of truffles in Piedmont, harvesting is prohibited in the following periods:
– from 1st May to 31st May;
– from 1st September to 30th September.
