At the end of the 1980s, Ugo Cauda (Sole Director of Alba Tartufi), driven by his passion and love for his region, a place of excellence and ancient tradition for truffle harvesting, decided to embark on the business of searching for and selecting fresh truffles, following in the footsteps of the early pioneers who made the Piedmont region famous throughout the world (Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, now a World Heritage Site).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At the end of 1998, Alba Tartufi had the intuition to offer and sell its products through the complementary channel of the Internet.
